Has anyone or know of any motorcycle transmission that I can add to my custom built motorcycle> Currently I have a 23 HP B&S Vtwin vanguard.

He man. What you are trying to do is a good idea. Don’t let anybody talk you down. I’m a 51 year old that is doing the same thing, I also ride Harley Davidson and Brit bikes. The Vanguard will probably be a very durable engine requiring less work as long as you keep it up,,,may out-last most bike engines.

One of your biggest problems isn’t finding the tranny as long as you can get it to mount to the frame. What you are going to have problems with will be the link between the two, it will require machining. Damned near any tranny in 4-5 or 6 speed should work. Try looking at Baker, Ultima and if at all possible, use a British tranny. Check e-bay.

You aren’t going to use the CVT are you? An open belt primary at about 1.5 inch will do you. You may have to spend the bucks but I wouldn’t go over 600 bucks.

When they touch down, meaning when they make it to they destination. And then in the verses they explain how they act and what not when they "touchdown".

I have a gsxr 1000 and a gsxr 600. The 1000 is an 04 and that is what I ride normally. I saved the 600 since it was what I learned on and modified. The 600 is a 2000 with a stage 3 jet kit, k&n pods and full yushomaro exhaust on it. It is very quick and I am nervous letting her ride to learn on. She has rode 4 wheelers before, but they do not do 60 in first gear. The bike is in perfect condition. I even had some powder coating done along with polishing to make the bike look great. If she puts it down it will cost a lot to fix the fairings. Plus normally when these bikes go down the tail is destroyed. So undertail kit would go bye bye too. Is this too much bike for a woman’s first bike?

Where is it written that you HAVE TO lend her one of your bikes to learn on? Let her go buy her own. Get one of those older twin cylinder 400/450/500 bikes. you know the CM, 400/450, the XS400, the Vulcan 454 or 500 etc. They should cost around $ 1000-1200 all day long in decent running shape. The turnsignals is about the only thing that is gonna get damaged when she drops it. The bike should last her for 2 yrs until she wants to move up to something else.

If the stainless steel is the more reflective why is the overall color darker, i.e. grey instead of white?
Also, on a sunny day, which do you expect would be hotter to the touch: stainless steel or the same painted white?

The mirror is an efficient reflector. White absorbs all but re-emits some, less efficint as a reflector.
