how to fix aluminum rims when cleaned with chrome cleaner?

i know somebody who cleaned their polished aluminum rims with chrome cleaner. it looks as if the polish has been stripped off.

is there any ways to fix it.

that’s exactly what happened. aluminum wheels usually have a protective clear coating on them. that person just scrubbed it off. try calling a place that repairs wheels and maybe they can re-coat them.
