I wanted to chrome polish my frame, swing arm and rims on my 97 yzf600r, but I never polished anything before. I started by polishing a small piece on the bike first and this is how I did it. The end result was pretty nice.. I havn’t started the rest yet it, I need a lot more time

So I just found out …
So I just found out my frame and swing arm are NOT aluminum I had a magnet and decided just to double check and the magnet stuck to the frame and swing arm… tis sucks because I am now back to square 1 on polishing the frame and swing arm… does anyone know what type of metal this may be and if it could even be polished.. any advise would be greatly appreciated
