Because I have no clue why but i was mixing different nail polish together and it went right through THREE plastic plates!!!
Me and my Brother are AMAZED that it burnt through not 1 not 2 but THREE plastic plates!

Careful whether the solvent is acetone, ethyl acetate or butyl acetate, This would apply to both nail polish AND nail polish remover. These can easily dissolve and melt plastics. This can also include clothes you wear like acrylic socks, plastic credit cards etc. Also you can remove finishes from furniture, potentially cars, and really mess up computer laptop monitors/LCD TVs.
Be careful when you paint.:)

Nail polish is a mix of coloring pigments and lacquer dissolved in acetone.
Acetone is a very strong solvent for plastics.
