Is it safe to polish plastic contact lens to remove scratches?

because I read somewhere that it destroys the anti-glare coating and should only be used as a last measure.
problem is its only about a year old.
oh did i write contact lens? i meant eyeglasses. silly me.

Lenses can’t be re-polished in any way , shape or form.

Even as a last resort…it can’t be done.

Nothing has been invented that can re- polish an optical lens to remove scratches without damaging the lenses.

You mention an anti reflection coating, so your lenses may have a 2 year warranty on them . Check where you got them from.
