Ok so i have this stainless steel pistol that i want to shine up to a mirror finish, i was going to wipe johnsons baby oil on it to shine it but will that somehow make it rust? any other suggestions? thanks!
If it is Stainless Steel then it will not rust , you know "Stainless"???? Dependant on how bad it is stained. Use a Brillo Pad to get worst off, going with the grain. Yes, Metal does have a.grain. Then use a fine abrasive, such as Brasso or Silvo to shine it

Common Sense
Get you one of those Mother’s Power Ball polishers for auto rim buffing. Use some type of polishing compound that is slightly abrasive. Aluminum wheel polish may work.
