My Grandpa and I where shooting our guns outside of Corpus Christi, TX and I brought the video camera to film some of our shooting. Papa shoots the Polish Tantal (the “74″ as he calls it) 5.45×39 and towards the end refers to his canteen being shot off his side by an AK-47 during his time in Korea. We where shooting 53gr FMJ Russian surplus ammo.

You’re correct on that one. My grandpa wasn’t sure what type of gun shot his canteen (he wondered if it was an AK), he wanted to shoot the water bottle to see if it resembled the damage done to his canteen.
