Because the added …
Because the added cost isnt worth it. Powerful bikes will still wheelie dangerously with so little traction and ty bikes will still crash. We will see it on the road someday, but its never going to be the definitive bike technology. That will always be 1wd.

having awd in a …
having awd in a streetbike would not make it any faster if anything it would make it slower because it robs hp from the rear wheel. all it does is improve traction in low traction settings as shown. there is no reason for it to be on a street bike and it never will be. and where do you see a car ever beating a bike, and where did you see a corvette losing to an awd?

If you are talking …
If you are talking about the bike itself…The frame goes for about $5,000.00 a complete bike, Im guessing around $13,000.00 so again its not your normal dirt bike. Im guessing this this is only really used for Enduro races and Dakar styled rallys. Could be wrong though.

bike off roading …
bike off roading will never be the same again. just like when Audi introduced Quattro, the first AWD system in road car in 1980 in WRC (world rally championship). Audi Quattro smoked all other cars in the race. since then, AWD/4WD is standard; 2WD, forget it

while it makes …
while it makes certain things easier, it also makes certain things that were almost impossible before possible now. like snow riding, or deeper mud riding, or certain hills. so in that respect, don’t look at it like it’s made current obstacles easier, look at it like it’s risen the bar on what’s hard

I agree to some …
I agree to some degree, but it’s the evolution of dirtbikes, just look at the bikes from the sixty’s, the suspension bikes have today compared to the old bikes are so different it might as well be called cheating.

I think an AWD …
I think an AWD dirtbike is a good idea but it takes the challenge out of hill climbs and woods riding. Its kinda like video game cheats. It makes it no FUN
