The following is a step by step description of how to polish the haze off a headlight using “Knob Polish”.

1) Remove the majority of the haze by using 320 grade wet sandpaper, use a liberal amount of water and sand until the surface is smooth to the touch. Don’t apply pressure just rub back & forth letting the sandpaper do it’s job.
2) Do the same thing with 600 grade wet sandpaper. Using a lot of water, sand down lightly until it is uniformly smooth.
3) Lightly spread a thin coat of “Knob Polish” and using a wet cloth buff out until the lens is shiny and clear. For quicker results wet the bonnet and use a high speed buffer moving constantly without applying much pressure.
