On the frame, bottom front. Normally shaped like a wedge of some sort. Juts out from the frame. Normally around the foot controls.
Don’t know the name or what its use is other than I like the look and want to find one for my chopper or fabricate one.

If it’s on both sides it sounds like frame sliders. They protect the bike from getting badly damaged if it falls or slides.

it is a chin spoiler, I have seen choppers use them for an oil tank or battery box,I even saw one that used it as a tool pouch.
